This second entry, as I learn the art of blogging, is from New York City and is about the adventures we had getting here. Tomorrow we will depart (same word in French but with an é instead of an e for the second letter...repeat, repeat for me) for Truro where hopefully we can slow down a little.
These little glitches on the way here included a sprained ankle (moi) and a back issue (John Paul). Both are healing now.
We are making the most of NYC. Today we did serious work perusing the offerings for appliances, cabinet types and faucets for our apartment renovation in St. Louis and yesterday we attended a benefit for Movement Research with Eleanor after I met with Gary Tenenbaum at the City Bakery, one of my coaches for my next two months at the Cite.
Also in preparation, I now have new Paris guide books and cheap American T-Shirts. Shopping does (temporary) good work on anxiety!
